SVS Avery is currently operating out of Port Harcourt and continues its long-term charter with indigenous local operators in Nigeria delivering services to an IOC.
The vessel has been extremely reliable over the past few months carrying out regular patrol work including performing escort work.
Our Caterpillar Specialist Engineer on board has nearly completed the 3000 hourly process which involves service routines to the vessel’s Main Engines and Generators.
This is a very physically demanding routine; however, the work has been completed to the highest standard and should conclude in the middle of June.
During the month, we also had work conducted on AC plants 2 and 3 which were experiencing some difficulties, we are happy to report that the issues have been solved and both plants are working effectively. Currently plants 1 and 4 are undergoing upkeep, this will ensure that the AC on board will be working at a maximum capacity ensuring an appropriate environment for our seafarers to carry out their work.
SVS Avery is the next vessel in our fleet that will be going in for a dry dock, this is likely to happen at the end of September, destination to be announced. The docking will allow for regular preservation of the vessel and to carry out any other necessary work that could originate before then.
We have a variety of charter and operating arrangements in place and have the flexibility to deliver a range of solutions in order to meet client needs. We provide support to a variety of market sectors.
